VERTICAL CNC MACHINING CENTRE
V 500 AL is a vertical CNC working centre for machining aluminium and composites.
With this machine it is possible to work a complete aluminium panel of 5000x1600 mm in one time.
The working table of the machine has 15° tilting.
The operator can load and unload big and heavy panels by standing in upright position, without bending as it happens on horizontal machines.
It is very easy to position big and heavy panels on the machine. The operator needs only to put the panel on the bottom stops of the machine which will hold then the panel.
When the panel is machined the operator can easily take it away from the machine by moving it aside on the bottom stops.
Considering that big aluminium panels can reach the weight of 15/20 Kg each and that loading / unloading the panels must be repeated many times during the working day, he will save a lot of energy.
Once the panel is positioned on the machine the operator can see the complete machining process by standing in upright position.
He will stop the machine if he sees that the machine is not working good (wrong program or bad tool) during the machining process.
With horizontal machines he will understand if something is wrong only after the process is completed.
During the machining process tools can brake and shavings can fly away from the working position.
When working with horizontal machines broken tools and shavings can hit the operator, despite the safety protections.
With our vertical machine broken tools and shavings will take side directions (left, right, towards up and down with respect to the working area) without hitting the operator who stands in front of the machine.
The vertical position of the working area (with 15° tilting of the working table) allows the shavings to fall down towards the floor (gravity).
At the bottom of the machine a shaving collector and a shaving extractor are provided.
Shavings are always taken away from the working area. Our vertical machine remains always clean, while on horizontal machines shavings remain in the working area causing problems to the machining process and possibly to the operator.
Our vertical machine can be placed in one third of the space you need to place an horizontal machine.
You need more or less 2,50 metres from the wall to place our vertical machine, while you need about 8 metres from the wall to place an horizontal machine with same working capacity.
This allows the operator to easily move in the working area and save costs.
All working programs can be made in the office.
When working programs are ready the operator has only to run them on the machine.
This will save time when using the machine and let the operator stay in safe position when the machine is working.
